Interbrand wins eight iF Design Awards across four global offices

Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, has been recognized by the iF Design Awards, winning eight awards spanning four offices.

For 70 years, the prestigious iF Design awards have celebrated excellence in design, recognizing its global importance and impact.

The iF Awards 2024 recognized Interbrand for its work with Bugatti (CEE), Korean Re (Seoul), Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development (Tokyo), Renantis (Milan), Envig (Milan), JOBKOREA (Seoul), Samsung SDS (Seoul) and YOZM (Seoul).

BUGATTI has the ambition to move out of the category of “hyper-cars” into more holistic luxury experiences. Defining a new design identity for the brand is a big step towards this ambition. This bold step enables the brand to once again define a league of its own, staying true to Ettore Bugatti’s motto: “If it’s comparable, it is no longer BUGATTI.”

Korean Re: Challenge Ourselves, Change the World

Corporate Identity

Korean Re, South Korea’s sole reinsurance company, marked its 60th anniversary with a CI design renewal. We established the design concept of ‘Boldness & Lightness’ for the new CI. ‘Boldness’ represents its great confidence in the profession and its over 60 years of experience, and ‘lightness’ expresses its flexibility toward diverse risks. With a new CI, it has taken the first step toward becoming a leading global reinsurance company.

Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development: Power of Unity

Visual Communication Design System

Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development (MCUD), one of Japan’s leading real estate developers, needed a communication system that would bring together its people, values, and ideas. The answer was a design based on colored bars, reminiscent of the constraints of a city block, that can be arranged in different patterns to show MCUD’s ability to organize, collaborate, and provide instantly recognizable benefits.


Brand Identity

Falck Renewables, among the main players in the European renewable energy industry, evolves into Renantis with the support of Interbrand. The new name is inspired by the latin renovare, meaning to renew. All elements come together in the visual system, presenting a natural feel with a somewhat technologically reassuring flavour.

Interbrand supported Pollogen, a leading brand operating in the non-invasive aesthetic industry, in creating and launching a new brand—from the naming to the identity—of at-home skin-rejuvenating devices called Envig. The product stands out thanks to its cutting-edge technologies, and its brand positioning was purposefully built to offer an original perspective on beauty and self-confidence, which translated in a bold and disruptive identity.

JOBKOREA is a Korean job platform that aims to help careers grow into a “brand”. With “New Job, New Me” as their slogan, their mission is to assist users in finding a job that is tailored to their needs through customized services and long-term career care plans. Playful illustrations appeal to their targeted audience and also allude to the flexibility of the service that can cater to the needs of different individuals.

Samsung SDS

Cloud Services

As Samsung SDS created a new cloud platform, it needed a clear brand identity to convey the platform’s differentiation. With decades of expertise with high profile enterprises, the brand noted the needs & desires of partners when they had to choose a method for consolidating internal capabilities. Samsung SDS simplified the often difficult, hard to navigate offerings of cloud products to create a straightforward cloud journey for consumers as encompassed in its new BI and slogan, “Cloud Simply Fit.”


Yogurt Product Packaging

Although YOZM, a Greek yogurt brand in Korea, offered a high-quality product, it faced the challenge of establishing a unique brand identity in a fiercely competitive market. After a PE firm acquired the company, it was the perfect time for the brand to acquire momentum. As a result, YOZM renewed its visual identity and was transformed into a youthful lifestyle brand, going beyond its original identity as a simple product.
