New York, September 13, 2022 – The strategic brand consultancy, Interbrand, will consolidate and strengthen its activity in Latin America under the leadership of Nancy Villanueva, who will be responsible for the firm’s continued success and growth in the region.
After 25 years of experience in Latin America, this move is aligned with Interbrand’s new global focus on international and interdisciplinary teams within hubs of excellence, designed to directly manage relationships with clients. This is an evolution of the historical hyper-local structure into an international and multidisciplinary hub that will assure clients will receive Interbrand’s highest quality services and results in Latin America.
Interbrand’s hub of excellence will be led out of Madrid, with offices and teams providing significant presence on the ground in São Paulo and Mexico. Combined, these teams will offer their strategic consulting services throughout the region, with the support of Interbrand’s professionals across the globe.
“Latin America is a key region for Interbrand in its long-term growth strategy. Through our expertise and passion, we hope to increase our footprint in the region by offering highly strategic, creative, integrated and unique solutions to our clients for the creation and management of their brands,” said Villanueva, CEO of Latin America.
The new regional management team, headed by Villanueva, is completed by Beto Almeida, CEO at Interbrand São Paulo; Eduardo Íñiguez, Executive Director Growth; Borja Borrero, Executive Director, and Oliver Pacht, Director Latin America, who will be based in Mexico.
“We have over 25 years of experience working in multiple countries in Latin America, creating iconic transformations and brands such as Latam Airlines, Explora, Itaú among many others. Interbrand is both multidisciplinary and multicultural, thus being a great reflection of the cultural melting pot that is our region,” said Almeida.
