Interbrand, HYD Develop New Brand Identity and Website for Travel Disruptor Mondee

The brand refresh and new website come on the heels of the launch of the Mondee Travel Marketplace, a platform for personalized booking.

NEW YORK October 11, 2023 — Today, leading global brand consultancy Interbrand and HYD, its digital product agency, unveiled a new brand identity and redesigned website for Mondee. Mondee is a high-growth online travel marketplace with a portfolio of globally-recognized platforms in the leisure and corporate travel sectors. The brand refresh and new website come on the heels of the launch of the Mondee Travel Marketplace, a platform for personalized booking powered by generative AI and supported by a network of travel experts and influencers.

The updated brand reflects Mondee’s commitment to being an approachable and innovative partner for a wide range of users, from travel experts and organizations to freelancers, influencers and leisure and corporate travelers. The brand’s purpose—“setting a new standard for meaningful travel”—puts Mondee’s customers at the heart of the experience, invigorating users no matter when or where they interact with the brand.

The visual identity was inspired by a sense of possibility and Mondee’s drive to go beyond the ordinary. Warm colors, a playful typeface, and a dynamic and emotive photography style amplify the wonder of travel. A bespoke graphic inspired by travel paths illuminates the options that Mondee provides for its customers.

The new Mondee brand voice is clear, spirited, and engaging, ensuring that customers feel they have a partner that anticipates their needs and helps them have fun along the way. A messaging playbook helps every user find delight in Mondee’s diverse offering—whether they’re an industry veteran who’s seen it all or a traveler setting off on their next globetrotting adventure. 

The new visual and verbal expression come to life intuitively and immersively on Mondee.com, which was developed in close collaboration between HYD, Interbrand, and Mondee.
