Four brands.
Four leaders.
Four conversations.

Our CEO Nathan Birch speaks with Go-To, Normal, Up, and Heaps Normal about their journeys so far and what they’ve learnt along the way.

Leonie Faddy

CMO, Go-To

Go-To, the iconic skincare brand created by Zoë Foster Blake, has been named a 2021 AU+NZ Breakthrough Brand.

In this episode, Go-To’s Chief Marketing Officer Leonie Faddy chats about creating a culture of kindness, why the team’s sights are set on becoming a household name, and achieving further success on the global stage. We spoke with Leonie just before Go-To sold a controlling stake to BWX for $89 million, so she also hints at that partnership.

In this episode, Up’s Head of Product Anson Parker speaks about building a brand off the back of customer feedback, the importance of financial literacy and empowerment, and why “people want to wear a T-shirt with our logo on it”.

Pete Brennan

Founding Partner and Head of Brand, Heaps Normal

Heaps Normal, the non-alcoholic beer phenomenon, has been named an AU+NZ Breakthrough Brand. It’s a graduation of sorts for the one-year-old business, which last year appeared on our Ones to Watch list.

In this episode, Heaps Normal Founding Partner and Head of Brand Pete Brennan talks of his family’s history with alcohol, the community of people that have grown with the brand, and the journey of going from an unlabelled, warm silver can to the country’s best non-alcoholic beer. Pete is also the founder of branding agency Electric + Analog, and he touches on the difference between building a brand for a client and building your own.
