FEED is an organization dedicated to providing hunger relief with proceeds from recycled totes and other products. It was seeking to expand its impact and create a targeted promotion to unite customers in a meaningful way and help combat hunger.
We helped create FEED Supper to tap into a common love: sharing food with others. By bringing people together to enjoy a meal, guests could appreciate and support the right-to-food for people everywhere. From September 16th to World Food Day, we invited people everywhere to host a FEED Supper for their friends and family—but instead of bringing dessert, we asked guests to bring a donation.
In one month we helped FEED raise enough to share 1.9 million meals, nearly doubling its 1-million-meal goal. The organization also increased online sales by 113 percent, transactions by 97 percent, and traffic by 77 percent during the span of the promotion.
The movement gathered customer and corporate support, social media buzz, enough donations for nearly two millions meals—and showed customers that they have the power to FEED the world.
