Vicky Leavitt Honored as a Retail Design Luminary

Interbrand’s Vicky Leavitt, CEO, NA, Consumer & Retail Brand Experience, recognized in design:retail’s 2017 Portfolio Awards as a Retail Design Luminary.

Cincinnati, Ohio (September 8, 2017) — design:retail’s Portfolio Awards, an annual competition that recognizes the best, brightest and most innovative in the retail design industry, named Interbrand CEO, NA, Consumer & Retail Brand Experience, Vicky Leavitt as a Retail Design Luminary. The Retail Design Luminaries are exceptional individuals that have exemplified creative excellence, professional leadership, and personal commitment to the field of retail design.

These awards are decided by the retail design community and are based off design:retail reader nominations. This honor has been bestowed on Leavitt by her industry peers in recognition of her long track record of leading her talented teams to award-winning heights and delivering positive results.

“I love partnering with both our internal teams and clients to help frame and bring to life the vision for iconic brand experiences that deliver growth for both their brand and business,” said Leavitt. “My goal is to help our clients dream bigger; to surprise, delight and deliver joy for their guests — before, during, and after the store.”

Having lived and worked in North America, the Middle East and Europe, Leavitt offers over thirty years of experience in leading retail, branding, innovation, and marketing all over the globe. In 2015, she transitioned to a new role with Interbrand as CEO of Consumer & Retail Brand Experience. Since joining, she has brought together the two distinct retail and consumer branding offices into one collaborative team in a new, custom-built space in Longworth Hall, a historic site located in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2016.

Leavitt’s Retail Design Luminary is recognized in the September issue of design:retail. She will accept the honor on September 14, 2017, at the Portfolio Awards Dinner, which is part of design:retail Forum in Sonoma, CA.
