Kieren Cooney Appointed CEO of Interbrand Australia

SYDNEY, Australia  (24 March 2015) – Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, today announced the appointment of Kieren Cooney as Chief Executive Officer of its Australian offices, located in Sydney and Melbourne. He will be based in Sydney and report directly into Stuart Green, CEO of Interbrand Asia-Pacific, effective immediately.

Most recently, Cooney served as Group Managing Director at DDB Sydney. Prior to joining DDB, Cooney demonstrated his passion for brand and innovation when he held senior executive positions at Telecom New Zealand, Leading Edge, Vodafone and NBN Co.

As CEO of Interbrand Australia, Cooney will be supported by an existing team of creatives, strategists and technologists. He will also be charged with leading Interbrand Australia through its next stage of development and growth.
