Interbrand wins at the Transform Awards North America 2017

New York, New York (November 7, 2017)–  Interbrand was awarded gold, silver, and bronze at last week’s Transform Awards North America. Our achievement at the awards recognizes Interbrand’s excellence in visual identity, packaging, and overall brand development.

Established eight years ago in Europe, the Transform Awards has evolved into a global celebration of the indispensable talent that exists within the branding sphere. Since the launch of Transform magazine in April 2014, the global publication has led the way in reporting on those who are pushing boundaries in both creative and strategic branding. With shortlisted companies from all over the United States and Canada, this evening has proved there is much to be celebrated in North America.

Interbrand’s work with Electro, a Saudi Arabia-based electronics retailer that recently reimaged their identity and retail experience, was awarded gold—the highest recognition— in Best Visual Identity in the Retail Sector. Work with Moët Hennessy on their Chandon Summer seasonal release received a silver award in the Packaging category. Additionally, Interbrand’s partnership with Constellation Brands Beer Division on the launch of Corona Extra’s on-premise draft experience received a bronze award for Best Use of Visual Property.

Jamey Wagner, Executive Creative Director at Interbrand attended the award ceremony, which was held November 2, 2017, at Espace in New York City. He remarked, ”To be a part of something as prestigious as the Transform Awards is nothing short of exciting. Our team works extremely hard to deliver for our amazing clients, so for both us and the client to be recognized is truly an honor.”

“What a fun, bold, and unexpected visual identity in the electronics retail space,” shared one judge of the awards, regarding the Electro project, “I think the brand really achieves everything it set out to achieve, and I love that the visual elements extended into the entire shopping experience, elevating it to an actual experience rather than a chore or task.”

This year’s entries demonstrated a high degree of creativity and innovation and addressed business challenges across all categories.
