Cologne, March 2, 2017 – Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, announced that Simon Thun has been named Chief Executive Officer of Interbrand Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), effective April 1, 2017. In his role, Simon Thun will be responsible for leading strategic development and growth of Interbrand in Central and Eastern Europe. He will report directly to Gonzalo Brujó, CEO of Interbrand EMEA & LatAm.

For the last three years, Simon Thun has served as the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Germany. Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi, Simon was Managing Director of the German office of Prophet Brand Strategy. Simon joined Prophet through the acquisition of Noshokaty, Döring & Thun, a management consulting boutique he co-founded in 2005. Before that Simon was Manager at BBDO Consulting (now Batten & Company).

Simon holds a German Diploma in Business Administration & Marketing Communication from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences and is a regular speaker, writer and jury member on brand and business topics.
