Interbrand Establishes New Marketing Capability Practice

Chief Strategy Officer Stephan Gans Named Global Practice Leader

NEW YORK, New York (November 17, 2015) – Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, announced today the appointment of Stephan Gans as the Global Practice Leader to launch a Marketing Capability practice as part of its ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its client base. Over the past 12 months the practice has been developed, and fine-tuned, with input from clients and the Interbrand Global network.

Interbrand recognizes that the Chief Marketing Officer’s responsibilities are broadening to include developing and deploying the brand experience strategy, and to building ways of working that deliver a coherent experience across internal ‘silos’ and geographies. To do this, companies must be able to create an internal foundation of essential competencies including marketing skills, effective operating models and technology platforms.

The appointment of Gans follows Interbrand’s recent announcements regarding the continued investment in leadership and expansion of its Experience and Content Strategy practices.
