Interbrand Appoints North American CXO in Move to Elevate Experience Practice

NEW YORK, New York (24 September 2015) – Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, is pleased to announce its growing commitment to technology and experience. As a reflection of its continued focus on the Experience practice, Interbrand has appointed Antoine Veliz to Chief Experience Officer of North America. Veliz will be based in New York and report to Josh Feldmeth, CEO of Interbrand North America.

As Chief Experience Officer, Veliz will be responsible for heading the practice in North America, leading Interbrand in creating compelling experience strategies that bring brands to life. Veliz’s original hire in early 2014 was a part of Interbrand’s ongoing commitment to deepen its capabilities around product & service innovation, experience design and technology —practices in which he will continue to foster and oversee. He will lead an existing team of strategists, creatives and technologists to form an unparalleled service offering across North America. Prior to being named Chief Experience Officer, Veliz most recently served as Interbrand’s Executive Director, Experience. He came to Interbrand from global strategy and design firm Frog, where he served as Executive Creative Director.

This appointment is part of Interbrand’s continued investment in leadership, and follows Interbrand’s recent announcement of its commitment to expanding its global Marketing and Content Strategy practices led by Chief Marketing Officer, Andrea Sullivan and Chief Content Officer, Paola Norambuena. “These key leadership appointments signify our investment in the future of Interbrand’s global marketing efforts, services offerings and our commitment to leading the conversation within the industry,” Jez Frampton, Interbrand’s Global Chief Executive Officer.
