Celebrities join business leaders from around the world at Interbrand’s Best Global Brands Summit

The Top 100 Brands of 2017 will be celebrated as attendees interact with experts from various industries.

NEW YORK, NY (September 25, 2017) — Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, will hold its 2017 Best Global Brands Summit at One World Trade Center on Wednesday, September 27th. The daylong event is scheduled to take place just two days after the announcement of this year’s Best Global Brands on Monday, September 25th.

The Best Global Brands report, now in its 18th year, highlights the Top 100 most valuable brands. The Summit brings together C-suite executives, celebrities, and media to celebrate the leading brands of 2017, the value they bring to the world, and how each paves the way for innovation and growth. The Summit will focus on this year’s theme: Growth in a Changing World, and will examine growth through three lenses: People, Technology, and Brand.

“Our ambition for the Best Global Brands event is to find new ways to connect our partners with each other, so we can all learn from the world’s leading thinkers,” said Daniel Binns, Managing Director of Interbrand NY. “The programming we have slated for this year reflects the critical issues and opportunities organizations are facing as they pursue growth around the world.”

The day’s agenda will begin with a networking breakfast at 9am on the 34th floor of One World Trade Center. Following breakfast, guests will have the opportunity to hear from Ron Insana, Senior Analyst, CNBC and Financial Industry Expert; Linda Boff, CMO of GE; Wendy Finerman, Producer; Ron Faris, General Manager of Nike; Stacy London, author, stylist, co-host of What Not to Wear; Alicia Tillman, CMO of SAP; Fiona Naughton, Sr. Director of PayPal; and more. Guests will also have the chance to take part in more intimate fireside chats with Judy Smith, crisis management expert and inspiration for hit TV show Scandal; Todd Waterbury, Chief Creative Officer of Target, and others; interact with other likeminded-thinkers during breakout discussions; and network. Other notable speakers include Rahzel, World Champion Beatboxer and Jeff Hansen, GM of Microsoft, among others. After the Summit, a cocktail reception will begin at 6pm, where Roy Wood Jr. will MC. Attending brand leaders will be given awards for their placements on this year’s Best Global Brands list.
