Managed by the Auchan Group, Simply Market is a young brand of French supermarket created in 2005. Interbrand’s expertise was solicited to define a clear positioning for the market chain, which would differentiate the brand and streamline its communication.

Our team conducted a series of brand definition and brand expression workshops, along with senior management interviews, in order to articulate Simply Market’s vision, mission, and values and establish strong brand positioning. “Proximity with customers” emerged as a key differentiating quality and became the axis of the new identity.

Incorporating warm, straightforward imagery, always containing a human element, our team updated the brand’s visual identity by refining the logo and simplifying the color palette and typography.

Capturing the uncomplicated essence of these customer friendly, food-focused markets, the launch of the new identity was a success. Our team continues to assist Simply Market as they implement the new identity across all touchpoints.
