Amway contacted us with the purpose of creating a skin care brand, targeted for Latin woman. Our challenge was to develop a pan-regional strategy that would be position the brand for women in more than 15 countries in the hyper-competitive skin care market. To add to the complexity of the project, the name developed for the brand would have to be legally available in each country and pass various linguistic tests in order to ensure relevance and differentiation in Spanish and Portuguese.
We created Moiskin, which is a composite of the French word “moi” (me) and skin. The design behind Moiskin emphasizes the delicate and soft aspects of femininity, while taking into account the science behind the elaboration of the product reflected in its quality. Interbrand designed and developed Moiskin’s packaging for over 25 SKUs.
So far, Moiskin has exceeded sales expectations as it continues to hydrate and restore Latin American women’s skin from Mexico to Argentina.
