Design work for Deutsche Telekom, Schindler, Troika Dialog, Usiminas, and Walter AG is honored
Munich, June 16th, 2009 – The iF communication design award 2009, one of the most important international design awards, was presented to five entries submitted by Interbrand. The international jury of 17 outstanding design experts was impressed by:
Walter AG`s new brand position and corporate design, the repositioning and visual appearance of the tradition-rich Swiss brand Schindler, the corporate identity of one of Russia`s leading investment banks, Troika Dialog, the new brand launch of one of South America`s biggest and most modern steel producers, Usiminas and Deutsche Telekom`s new corporate fashion line for service technicians, POS shops and tradefairs.
"The awards are a tribute to the successful cooperation with our clients who have had the courage to follow creative, innovative and groundbreaking solutions. They also affirm that investing in brands pays off and that strategic communication achieves sustained success," explained Andreas Rotzler, Chief Creative Officer of Interbrand CEE.
A total of 1,368 entries from 24 nations were adjudicated for this year’s iF communication design award. The top 30 contenders, to be announced on August 28 at an award ceremony at the BMW Welt in Munich, will receive an iF gold award.
