Stephan Gans is Interbrand’s Chief Strategy Officer for North America and global practice leader for marketing organization, capabilities and technology.
Based in New York City, Stephan works with CMO’s and brand leaders of global brands and companies like AT&T, Thomson Reuters, VFC, Lenovo and Nissan to help them build effective global marketing organizations that enable the delivery of cohesive brand experiences.
His teams’ work typically entails brand operating model design, governance, organizational development, process design and change management.
Prior to joining Interbrand, Stephan was co-owner and CEO of global marketing consultancy EffectiveBrands which focused exclusively on building effective marketing organizations for global brand leaders, and which was acquired by WPP in 2014. Stephan started his career at Unilever, where he held both brand management and leadership roles in Europe and the USA.
